കേവലം കരയായിരുന്നു ഞാൻ..

തിരയായി നീ തഴുകുമ്പോൾ,

പിൻവലിയുമ്പോൾ,

ബാക്കിയായതെൻ കണ്ണീരിൻ നനവായിരുന്നു…

ഉപ്പിന്റെ ചവർപ്പിലും ഞാനാഗ്രഹിച്ചത്,

നീയായി നിന്നിൽ അലിയുവാനായിരുന്നു..

പക്ഷേ, കാലത്തിന്റെ ആവശ്യകതയിൽ,

കരയായിരിക്കാനല്ലേ, എനിക്കു കഴിയൂ..
